The flames of inspiration that burn
brightest here
Are often sparked by other flames
The greatest work that drives you forth
May bear another’s name
Ideas can spread across all gaps
And catch upon one’s mind
As long as you bank the fire here
Others will respond in kind
One spark of inspiration lights
A chain of unbound flames
And over time, far past their prime
That glowing light remains
Within the embers of long spent fuel
Sparks still glow warmly here
As long as one has just begun
This flame won’t disappear
